He was predeceased by: his parents, George Briggs and Myrtle Briggs (Wendt); and his son Brian Pooler. He is survived by: his children, Allen Briggs, Christopher Briggs, Boyd Briggs, Derek Briggs, Tanya Briggs, Raymond Briggs, Tracy Briggs and Timmy Stevens; and his stepchildren, Daniel Rank, Malinda Brown, Julie Sadowski and Becky Richards.
