It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernestina Janott of Whiting, Indiana, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Michael Janott; her parents, Victoriano and Maria (Del Refugio Estrada) of Martinez; and her siblings, Umberto Martinez, Roberto Martinez, Hector Martinez and Carmen Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Americo Montemayor (Laura) and Janet Gutierrez (Eliseo); her grandchildren, Brandon, Jeff, Selina Montemayor, Eliseo Gutierrez, Jr. and Miguel Gutierrez; her great grandchildren, Ethan and Erik, Jr.; and her siblings, Ricardo Martinez, Ramiro Martinez, Jesse Martinez, Victor Martinez, Guillermina Martinez and Rosa Martinez.
