He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy; his children, Dale Ray Whitney, Phyllis Whitney, Michael Whitney, Elwood Ray "Chip" Whitney and Ron Whitney; his stepchildren, Victor Crocker and Deanne Hathaway; his grandchildren, Anabelle Whitney, Ava Mae Whitney, Makenzy Jordan Crocker, Austin James Crocker, Charles Hogan and Mya Hathaway; his sibling Barbara Sue Piper (late Roger); and his parents, Jake Whitney and Hattie Whitney (Parker).
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, would be appreciated.
