With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elsie Canner (Whiting, Indiana), who passed away on February 26, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard C. Canner; her daughter Sandra Marie Canner; and her siblings, Ross, Aldena, Luella, Ruth and Dolly Madison.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Vargo (Jim), David, Tom (Cindy), Mike (Nola), Cheryl Clark (Robert), Jeff (Alex), Greg (Sylvia) and Mark (Sue Ellen); her grandchildren, Daniel (Rosemary), Michael (Rachel), Brian Vargo, Julie Bensinger (Darin), Sarah McClellan (Jacob), Kelly McColley (Kyle), Erin Cosmos (Matthew), Sandi Garza (John), Kristen Clark (Michael Sanchez), Nicole Clark (Eric Sullivan), Amanda Roush (Dustin), Scott (Lara), Tim (Mindy), Mark E. (Emily), Matthew, Joshua (Angela Reviello), Zachary, Jacob, Logan, Adam, Alex and Sam Canner; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, Camila, Caleb, Brayden, Cordelia, Lily, Brock, Ella, Oliver, Kate, Graham, Cameron, Everett, Amelie, Mia, Mara and Elsie Violet. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the St. John School Endowment Fund, would be appreciated.
