He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Reed and Elinor Reed; his sister Margo Feinberg; and his daughter Amy Reed. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla McCarty; his children, Daniel Reed, Nicholas Reed (Bethany) and Kimberly Reed; his stepchildren, Robert McCarty (Kelly) and Lisa Voy (Gilbert); his grandson Isaiah Reed; his stepgrandchildren, Kelsey Voy, Delaney Voy and Morgan McCarty; his sister Melanie Ross (Jack); his children, Maisie, Carmel and Tulip; and his family Dave. He is also survived by his family, friends and furry children.
