He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rosa Lee Downey; his daughters, Deanna Compton (Scott), Patty Sherer and Carol Dafcik (Keith); his grandchildren, Kyle (Kristin), Alexandra, Matthew Dafcik, Andrew, Rachel Sherer, Cameron, Ethan and Claire Compton; his great grandchildren, Isabel, Maci, Lily and Emily; and his parents, Clarence Downey and Clara Downey (Wilson).
