We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2018, at the age of 86, Catherine A. Smutniak (Whiting, Indiana), born in Decatur, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her child Edward Smutniak; and her sibling Joseph Griffin. She is survived by: her husband Edward; her children, Karen Pariso (Paul), Barbara Fernandez (Johnny) and Alice Smith Baker (Calvin); her siblings, Frances Nuccio (late Louis) and Marguerite Price; her siblings-in-law, James Smutniak (Terry) and Raymond Mulholland (late Theresa); and her parents, William H. Griffin and Hazel Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Bishop Noll Institute, would be appreciated.
