Carmelita Montoya Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmelita Montoya of Whiting, Indiana, who passed away on March 27, 2022 at the age of 84. She is survived by: her children, Marlene Lee (Richard), Lily May Gamino (Guillermo), Joy Rodriguez (Miguel) and Allan Buhangin (Tracey); her grandchildren, Britteney Madix (Jon), Joshua Buhangin (Kristina), Memory Gamino, Christian Gamino, Tatiana Gamino, Allante Lee, Alyssa Ritzma, Luke Ritzma, Cruz Jacinto and Kelli Jacinto; her great grandchildren, Julian and Dominic; and her siblings, Sol, Fely, Romolo and Racquel.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting; friends are invited to meet with the family from 12 noon to time of services (due to the current health situation, face masks and social distancing is encouraged).
