It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paula Marie Alter of Whitestown, Indiana, born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, who passed away on October 13, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, McCoy Maxwell and Charlene Maxwell; and her siblings, Johnny Maxwell, Bonnie Stone and Kathy Maxwell.

She is survived by: her children, Rachel Cox (David) and Joshua Alter (Anastasia); her grandchildren, Lillian Alter, Jacob Alter and Gavin Alter; and her brother Wayne Maxwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
