He is survived by: his children, Brian Bongen (Maru) and Betty Bongen (John); his grandchildren, Destiny and Kylo; his siblings, Paul Bongen (Sue) and Carol Bongen; and his sister-in-law Paula Bongen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
