She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burke and Rhoda Burke; her husband James E. Rose, Jr.; and her son James Nelson Rose. She is survived by: her daughters, Betty Moore (Sam) and Robin Russell (Steven); and her siblings, Bill Burke (Eva June), Evie Higgins, Jessie Higgins, Marie Necessary and Irene Minor (Jim). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
