She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Welch and Thelma Welch; and her sisters, Mary Welch, Joan Morris, Jackie Welch and Diana Wolf.

She is survived by: her son Scott Suiters; her granddaughter Ashley Suiters; and her brother Larry Welch (Lisa Pentland).
