Phillip Pierce Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Pierce of Whiteland, Indiana, who passed away on January 14, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin "Hank" Pierce and Mildred Pierce Sr. (Gaither); his grandson Korey Sprague; his stepfather Pat Yates; and his siblings, Thelma Fletcher, Ruthie Hepperle and George Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Bruce Pierce (Rhonda) of Franklin, Laura Rose (Scott) of New Castle, Sheila Sprague (Rob) of Greenwood and Matthew Pierce of New Whiteland; his stepsons, Scott Betts of Greenwood and Doug Betts (Gina) of Trafalgar; and his siblings, Frank Pierce (Becky) of Florida, Dave Pierce (Terry) of Franklin, William Pierce (Mary) of Jackson County, Brenda Mann of Southport, Barbara Cook of Florida and April Goodwin (Donald) of Norman. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter expected in June; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center (179 E Mulberry St, Morgantown, IN 46160). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
