Gloria Jean Shelton Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Jean Shelton of Wheeler, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria Jean Shelton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orris Bell and Ester Bell (Pike); her spouse Claude Shelton; her brother Donald Bell; her sister-in-law Rosemary Bell; her grandson Ray Guthrie; and her close friend Cynthia Mitchel.
She is survived by: her children, Mona Lane (Steve) of LaCrosse, Claude Shelton (Tonya) of DeMotte, Mark Shelton of Wheeler and John Shelton (Mimi) of Hamlet; her brother Sheridan Bell; and her pet Dinkers. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bartholomew Funeral Home (102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
