Viola J. Jonkman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Viola J. Jonkman (Wheatfield, Indiana), who passed away on November 12, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Schoon and Dorothy Schoon (Eenigenburg); her husband Phillip; and her siblings, Richard Schoon, George Schoon, Lloyd Schoon and Ruth Neihof.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy Smith (Robert), Roy Jonkman (Ruth Ann), Betty Kosta (Edward), Vernon Jonkman (Donna Jean) and Theodore Jonkman (Jennifer); her sister Bernadine Kampenga (Henry); and her sisters-in-law, Jean Bierma, Marilyn Jonkman and Melrose Schoon. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated towards Adrianna Oudman and her work with the Nehemiah Center in Nicaragua.
