He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Sampson and Hattie Sampson (Grevenstuk). He is survived by: his wife Janis Kosta; his children, Marla Fitzpatrick (Shaun) of DeMotte and Gerald Sampson (Holly) of Portage; his grandson Trace Fitzpatrick of Avon; his sister Patricia Sampson of Rensselaer; his siblings-in-law, Gene and Karen Puchle of Brownsburg; and his pets, Baxter and Coco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Jasper County Animal Shelter.
