He was predeceased by: his parents, Vyron Lavelle and Lucille Hershman (Thierman); his children, Stevanna Marie and Eric Hershman; and his grandson David Bean.
He is survived by: his children, Kristina Johnson, Aaron Hershman, Lucinda Deal (Delton) and Heath Hershman (Jaime); and his siblings, William Hershman (Pat), Thomas Hershman, Pete Hershman (Nita), Bonnie Weltzen (Tom) and Fritz Hershman. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren.
