It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Edward Polak of Wheatfield, Indiana, born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Polak (Eve Devol) and Eve; his former wife Victoria L. Polak; his brother Steven Polak; and his pets, Silver, Kajtuz, Ski, Sparky, Kishka, Tuz, Gandaulf and Lycan.
He is survived by: his wife Carol L. Polak; his children, Lauren Wulf (Nate), Alexander Polak, Matthew Mangold (Mindy), Christopher Mangold, Victoria Depew (Jason) and Bianca Hollins (Nicky); his grandchildren, Dominic, Cameron, Alexus, Calvin and Nevaeh; and his siblings, Christine Polak-Caroll, James Polak (Nancy), Carolyn Borner (Walter), Catherine Hejmanowski (John), Janine Booker (Anthony) and John Polak (Maegan).
