The memory of Pearl J. Hoffman of Wheatfield, Indiana, who passed away on February 13, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Lagestee and Anna Lagestee (Ooms); her former husband Robert Schoon; her daughter Cynthia Schoon; and her brother Edward Lagestee.
She is survived by: her children, Calvin Schoon, Cathy Abbring (John) and Curtis Schoon (April); her grandchildren, Joy Kaluf, Katie Lapsley, Jennifer Schoon, Steve Schoon, Jacob Schoon and Shelby Schoon; and her sisters, Jacque Zanstra and Judy DeHaan (Clarence). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church (5387 IN-10, Wheatfield, IN 46392). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mobility Ministries in Wheatfield, Indiana.
