He was predeceased by: his father John F Meyers; his sister Wendy Gross; his stepfathers, Devon Jones Sr. and Vernon Helton; and his stepsister Connie Jo Davis.
He is survived by: his mother Gracie Meyers-Helton (Shepherd); and his stepbrothers, Devon Jones Jr., Rick Helton (Rhonda) and Scott Helton (Debbi). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wheatfield American Legion Post #406, Wreaths Across America (2023).
