He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Davis and Loretta Davis (Woods); and his stepson Trent McElroy. He is survived by: his children, Risha Wiggs (Jeff) and Keith Davis (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Draye Davis, Bentley Rylan Keith Davis, Lacey Wiggs and Kevin Nickett; his siblings, Zep Davis, Teresa Meeks and Charlotte Carr; and his stepson Charles Haney.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given at the request of the family to help with the funeral.
