James Lester Davis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lester Davis of Wheatfield, Indiana, born in Jasper, Indiana, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Davis and Shirley Davis (Spiece); his former wives, Lillian Fulaytar and Lillian Davis; his daughter Christine Davis; and his siblings, Frederick, Ronnie, Bob Davis and Shirley Jefferson.
He is survived by: his wife Mayetta Davis; his daughters, Connie Tanner (Mark) of Francesville, IN and Cynthia Davis of Wheatfield, IN; his granddaughters, Elizabeth Ackerman (Daryl) and Amanda Chmielewski (Dan); his great grandchildren, Madisyn DeKock, Aralyn and Stella; and his siblings, William "Bill" Davis, Mary Lou Whitaker (Larry) and Donna Sohn (Nick).
