He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dahm and Henrietta Dahm (Berghorst); his wife Beverly May Hamstra; and his daughter Debra Recker. He is survived by: his sons, Henry Jr. Dahm (Jill) and Richard Dahm (Liz); his grandchildren, Jessica Peters (Nathin), Henry Joshua Dahm (Katie), Jenna Birky (Joel), Justin Dahm (Erin), Evan Dahm, Emily Dahm and William H. Recker (Danielle); his sister Carolyn Belstra; and his son-in-law William G. Recker. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Bethel Christian Reformed Church.
