He is survived by: his wife Irene Kay (Dusek); his children, Dawn VanderMolen (Kevin), Jay Hoffman (Camilla) and Mike Hoffman (Melanie); his sisters, Evelyn Dykhuizen and Janice Schlarp; and also, Jamie VanderMolen, Derek VanderMolen, Jasen VanderMolen, Gabrielle Hoffman, Sarah Hoffman, Justin Hoffman and Matthew Hoffman.
George's family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
