He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gobin and Norma Gobin (Frets); and his wife Patricia Beiswanger. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Merry (Kevin); his grandson Jayson Merry; his siblings, Marsha Graham (Gary), Donnie Gobin, Karen Arnold (Danny), Wayne Kimes and Mike Kimes; and his close friend Kristy Dzur.

In lieu of flowers, funds may be given to his grandson's future.
