It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cobb (Wheatfield, Indiana), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Hughes and Mattie 'Lucille' Hughes (Lowry); her husband Charles Cobb; and her sisters, Martha Hughes, Pearl 'Patty King, Beverly Strauss and Sylvia Ringstrom.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Cobb (Janett), Robert Cobb (Anita), Tina Mahone (Herman), Luci Bierman (Greg), Gary Cobb and Nathan Cobb (Kim); and her siblings, Alice Popplewell (Rex), Richard Hughes (Dee) and David Hughes (Mary). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
