James H. Downey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2023, at the age of 80, James H. Downey of Westville, Indiana, born in Dravosburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Downey and Helen Downey (Cislo); and his siblings, Charlie, Bill, Mort, Sis and Jean.

He is survived by: his children, James Downey of Valparaiso, John Downey (Lisa) of Union Mills and Carrie Hardesty (Michael) of Union Mills; his grandchildren, Johnny, Joe, Jenna, James, Ashley and Michael; and his brothers, Ray Downey (Jean) of Westville and Arky Downey (Iris) of Elyria.
