She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Tarkane and Mary Hocza; and her sister Alice Tarkane. She is survived by: her husband Steven "Swanny" Swanson; her children, Tammy Micciche (Michael) of Valparaiso, IN and Nick Swanson (Allison) of Westville, IN.; her siblings, Diane Jacobs (Larry) of Portage, IN, Teresa Ensign (Rick) of Valparaiso and Michael Tarkane (Julie) of Valparaiso; and her grandsons, Drew Swanson, Rocco Micciche, Cole Swanson and Matteo Micciche.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Westville United Methodist Church (154 W Main St, Westville, IN 46391). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Orak Shriners.
