It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Janiga of Westville, Indiana, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Muller and Gwendolyn Muller (Raines); her husband Joseph Janiga; her son Joseph "Tim" Janiga; and her brother Charles Muller.

She is survived by: her siblings, Chuck, Esther Waterberry and Virginia Valkman; her children, John Janiga (Jessie) of Valparaiso and Wendy Kulczyk (Mark) of Chesterton; her grandchildren, Nathan Janiga (Senia), Christi Skaggs (Chris), Travis Hamilton, Joseph Janiga, Katelyn Edward, Kelley Hall (Josh), Anthony Janiga (Miranda), Lindsey Janiga, Nick Janiga (Gabby) and Alyson Phillips (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Carter, Evelyn and Baby Hall; and her sister Dianne Warmus.
