She was predeceased by: her former husband Donald Hewitt, Sr.; her husband John E. Somers; her parents, Rafael Pfister and Flora Pfister (Fals); and her sister Hazel "Dusty" Schneider of Ohio.
She is survived by: her children, Donald "Bear" Hewitt, Jr. (Judy) of Porter, Mickey Cooper of Westville and Teri Luna (Bill) of Portage; her sister Phyllis Zent (Mike) of Howard, OH; and her grandchild Thirteen. She is also survived by Thirteen Great Grandchildren, relatives and many friends.
