He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sobieski and Helen Sobieski; his wife Mary Jo Humphrey; his son Robert Sobieski; and his siblings, Irene, Evelyn, Jean, Raymond, Alex, Jake and Eddie.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Kesling of LaPorte, IN and Michael Sobieski of Westville, IN; his grandchildren, Brittany Wireman (Greg), Katlyn Nettoruer (Justin), Kyle Sobieski and Colton Kesling; and his brothers, John Sobieski of Otis, IN. and Frank Sobieski of Otis, IN.. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
