Lois Jean Tichenor Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Jean Tichenor of Westport, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 22, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryan Atchley and Nellie Atchley (Sullivan); her husband Charles M. Tichenor; her siblings, Alma Eades, Opal Gentry, Joseph Atchley, Chester Atchley, Dale Atchley, Millard Atchley and Dwayne Atchley; and her granddaughter Christina Yeager.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly Blount (Tim) of Gulliver, Michigan, Cheryl Yeager (Randy) of North Vernon, Indiana, Marcella Tichenor of Safford, Arizona, Karin Tichenor of Westport, Terry Tichenor (Vicki) of Shoals and Burl Tichenor (Beth) of Martinsville, Indiana. She is also survived by 16 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Separate Baptist Missions Inc. or Special Olympics of Decatur County.
