She was predeceased by: her parent Stella Asher (Gilbert); her spouse Floyd Gatewood; her children, Debora Gatewood and David Gatewood; and her siblings, Ann Cobb, Stella Bagwell, Marie Asher, Rita Muckerheide, Evaleen Gatewood, Robert, John, Gilbert and Earl Asher.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Wallace (Paul) of Hope, Donna Hewitt of Westport and Daniel Gatewood (Colleen) of Westport. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
