He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Andrew Fuel and Helen Gates Miller; and his siblings, Sandra Root, Dennis Fuel and Gary Fuel.

He is survived by: his daughter Amy Fuel of Westport; his granddaughters, MaCailyn King of Columbus and Madeilyn Morgan of Westport; his sister Phyllis Rollins of Greensburg; his close friend Cathy Fugate of Westport; and his pets, Dexter and Koojie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (604 Main St, Hope, IN 47246). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
