He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edwin and Kathleen Jeanette Chase (Bladon); his wife Loretta Lee Woodruff; and his siblings, Claude Chase, Paul Chase, William Chase, Laura Ann Chase and Karen Sue Chase.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Chase of Fordsville, Kimberly Knapp (Troy) of Sardinia, Ella Hoke (Jason) of Hope, Harley Chase of Letts, Dennis Chase (Emma) of Osgood and Mark Chase (Brandi) of Clive, Iowa; and his siblings, Mary Weber of Aurora, Ella Chase of Rising Sun, Raymond Chase of Rising Sun, Ernie Chase of Vevay, Robert Chase of Vevay and Donald Chase of Aurora. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
