He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hewitt and Lillie Bryant Hewitt; and his brother Ronnie Hewitt. He is survived by: his wife Beverly K. Hewitt of Westport; his children, Rodney Hewitt (Rhonda) of Columbus, Scott Hewitt of Westport and Kimberly Hewitt of Westport; and his sister Shirley Elgar (Larry) of Columbus. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
