He is survived by: his mother Glenda Gail Hermann (Mitchell); his children, Abigail Lynn Boyer (Kaitlynn) of Spartanburg, SC., Andrew Joseph Hermann (Kristina) of Westport, IN., Anthony Franklin Hermann of Westport, IN., Arin Aleesha Hermann (William Rombilus) of Summerton, SC. and Anna Roselle Hermann of Mooresville, IN.; his grandchildren, Autumn Rose and Russell Joseph Hermann; his father Edward Joseph Hermann of Connersville, IN.; his sisters, Rachel Anne Nuxoll (Joey) of Rushville, IN and Margaret May DeBusk (Derek) of Carthage, IN; his nieces and nephews, Cecilia Russell, Wyatt Russell, Adelle Nuxoll and Dreama Nuxoll-Holton; and his aunt Diane Mitchell. He is also survived by his children's friends from calling him dad.
