She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Anna Pearl Melton (Anderson); her husband Charles Philip Davis, Sr.; and her siblings, Blanche Dunham, Dorothy Johnson, Betty J. Cole and James I. Melton, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Peele (Bill) of Westport, Dianna Spencer (Jimmy) of Brooksville, Denise Butler (Dennis) of Westport and Charles Philip Davis, Jr. of Columbus; and her sisters, Robbie Cox of Indianapolis, Sue Stout of Birdsboro and Patricia Larson of Galesburg, Illinois. She is also survived by her 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
