He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Leonard and Elizabeth Ann Smith (Nagy); and his siblings, Charles Smith, Mary Bryan, Patricia Large, Deloris Welch and Margaret Churchill.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Smith (Pepmeier); his children, Lynn Moore (Jim) of Westphalia, Andrea Spendal (Frank) of Montezuma and Jody Smith of Westphalia; his grandchildren, Nick Spendal, Kadye Moore, Megan Smith and Will Smith; his great grandchild Maddison Moore; and his brothers, Louis Smith of Denver, CO and Eddie Withers (Pam) of Brazil.
In compliance with state regulations, social distancing and face masks are required by all attending.
