It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verne Edwin Williamson (Westfield, Indiana), who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Verne Edwin may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Williamson and Ruby Williamson (Carson); and his brother Thomas Williamson. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Rapp; his daughter Katherine Drake (Richard); his grandchildren, Ivy DePascuale (Anthony), Everett Drake and Tristan Drake; and his sister-in-law Marie Williamson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Bible Fellowship (231 E 161st St, Westfield, IN 46074). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
