He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schoenfeld and Blanche Verdone (Range); his wife Suzann Evans Schoenfeld; his sister Joyce Smet; his aunt Dorothy Hanson; and his cousin Ronald Reineck.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Schoenfeld (Elizabeth) and Leah Foutty (Stephen); and his grandchildren, Matt Schoenfeld (Maria), Chris Schoenfeld (Margaret), Meredith Somun (Mirza), Nathan Schoenfeld, Charlie Foutty, Joey Foutty and Ana Foutty.
