He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Schwer and Ida Schwer (Niestroy); and his siblings, Edward W. Schwer and Mary Therese Cropper. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; and his daughters, Mary Angela, Martha Ann and Ruth Elizabeth.
