He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Spelbring and Martha Spelbring (Stewart); and his brother Jerry Spelbring. He is survived by: his wife Helen Spelbring; his children, Jim Spelbring (Debbie) and Jana Smith (Russell); and his grandchildren, James Paul Spelbring (Kari), Alicia Penrod (Zach), Brandon Spelbring, Klark Culp (Lauren), Jessie Watters (Zach), Greg Hart (Abby) and Jessie Magoteaux (Kurt). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
