He is survived by: his children, Ruth Hopkins (Steve) of Westfield, Indiana, Frank "Mickey" Deal, III of Sao Luis, Brazil and Rachel Patton (Arnold) of Carmel, Indiana; his granddaughters, Caroline Crum (Brandon), Nicole Short (Ash) and Bethany Patton; and his great grandchildren, William and James Crum.
