He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dr Stanley, Leila Chernish, Donald and Helen Cox; and his niece Taylor Perdue.
He is survived by: his parents, Dwight Chernish and Ann Chernish (Cox); his wife Nicki; his children, Declan and Teagan; and his sister Sarah Perdue (Steve).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Broadway United Methodist Church (609 E 29th St, Indianapolis, IN 46205). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Community Heart and Vascular Hospital Foundation or Indianapolis Gaelic Athletic Association.
