She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Spitler and Mary Collins Spitler; her husband Jacob Pershing; and her children, Richard Vester, Jacob Pershing, Jr., Alice Marie Vester, Ronald Pershing, Betty Lou Vester and Jim Pershing.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Kluesner, Mary Lynn Tevlin, Jack Vester (Sheila), Michael Pershing (Mica), Charles Pershing (Sally), Randall Pershing and Marie Monnett; and her sisters, Margaret Deckard and Rosemary Poppe. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
