With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronnie Pitts Sr. of West Terre Haute, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 24, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Albert Pitts and Lillian Marie Prouse Pitts; his brother Lonnie Pitts; and his sister-in-law Sharron. He is survived by: his wife Sue Lemrick Pitts; his children, Sharon Unger (Tim), Ronnie Pitts Jr., Shawn Pitts Sr. and Patrick Pitts (Susan Cooper); his cousin Henry Shattuck; and his grandchildren, Michael Jenkins Nicholas Jenkins (Brittnee), Haley Blitz (Micheal), Rachel Pitts, Travis Pitts, Brittany Pitts, Keely Watson (Chase), Shawn Pitts Jr. and Laney Pitts. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fitzpatrick Funeral Home (220 North 3rd Street, West Terre Haute, IN 47885). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
