He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Price Sims; his children, Paul Sims, Jr., Roger Shumaker (Elizabeth) and Sarah Ashley Shumaker; his sister Cathy Taylor; his grandchildren, Olivia, Sierra, Gavin, Kyle and R. J.; and his nephews, Adam and Tyler.
