It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Nelson (West Terre Haute, Indiana), born in Marion, Indiana, who passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Norma Jean leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond; and her children, Janice, Chester and Chuck. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Jane; and her grandchildren, Eric Garrison (Cynthia), Cheri Banks, Cassi Price (Roy) and Becky Ward (Derek). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice of the Wabash Valley, an organization that provided comfort and care during her final days.
