He was predeceased by: his parents, Scott Walker and Gladys Walker; his wife Christine Edington Walker; and his siblings, Harry Walker, Dick Walker, Bob Walker, Lester Walker, Hazel Walker and Norma Cox.

He is survived by: his children, Jesse Walker (Christiane), Gary Walker (Robyn), Doug Walker and Cindy Marrs (Matt); his grandchildren, Courtney Broady, Tanner Walker, Blake Walker, Austin Walker, Chrislyn Marrs, Cierra Marrs (Chandler Smith) and Jessica Marrs; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Hadley Broady; and his sister Leona Hicks (Jim).

The family welcomes memorial contributions be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 6076 US Hwy 150, West Terre Haute, in lieu of flowers.
